You Deserve Better

Jonathan is one of the founding employees of Watermark Capital Texas. He spent ten years in telecom and left the turbulence of telecom to get into the stability of banking in July 2006!  Jonathan has been an award-winning loan officer and branch manager.  Jonathan finds it incredibly fulfilling to both help people buy homes as well as refinancing mortgages. He also seeks out people with very high growth ceilings and has built a world-class team of mortgage professionals.

Jonathan did most of his growing up in Kansas, although, by birth, he’s a 5th generation Floridian.  Jonathan attended Baylor University (BA 1994) and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.  Jonathan also earned his Master of Business Administration from SMU’s prestigious Cox School of Business (2008). Jonathan lives in Southlake and is married to Claire Doddridge. They have three fabulous kids – Jacob, Jonah and Daisy and three dogs (two of which are fabulous). Jonathan remains slightly taller than Daisy but doesn’t like to talk about height with either Jacob or Jonah.

Jonathan’s work philosophy is service oriented – to customers, partners and teammates. He strives to be consistent with his attitude, effort and results. He also holds dear the ‘parable of talents’ and works hard to do the best job he can daily to multiply his blessings.
